06.18New Art Project
Not a lot happening in the world of entertainment recently, and Josh’s apartment burning down made me realize that maybe I need to relax a little on the music front.
But, since my social life doesn’t take up all my time and I have zero motivation to re-program Listen Or Don’t’s main page, I started a new vector art piece. Previous pieces I’ve finished in their entirety include Lindsay Toft in Meat Is Murder (after the cut for loading time) and the full art for Valhalla, which will be available with the album.
This piece is differently-themed from the rest of my digital work (above ->Graphic tab ->Photos ->Digital and Cartoons).
I start all my pieces by doing as much with pure vectors as possible, allowing the pieces to be rather large. This particular piece can be replicated without loss-of-quality to 7-feet by 7-feet.
Some of the vectors aren’t really where I want them to be, but I’m just starting the details phase which involves outlining and shading. I’m guessing I have about another 20-30 hours to go on this one, with about 10 hours already passed. Because shading is a bitch process, and I really need to buy a pad thing rather than doing this all with my laptop touchpad and a laser-optic mouse.
