  • Gotta Get This Song Out Of My Head And These Pictures Off My Mind

    Hey-o, bloggerinos.

Mmmm. For some reason, writing “bloggerinos” makes me hungry.

Anyway, I was working on this song I wrote on the subway. I scribbled t down on a note-pad, writing in “K” for Kick-Drum and “S” for snare and - get this creativity - “RST” for rest. I wrote out two verses and a chorus, then sat down and recorded those. Then I did some instrumentation and that grew into something else. Then, back to vocals…

Point being, this song has potential to be on CNVI (shoot me, I know), and I’ll get around to it when I have time, but right now I need to get it out of my head.

    So, a-vlogging we will go.

[UPDATE: There is a newer version of this song and this art now, so I deleted the player from this post. Should you really want to see it, click the Media Dump tab!]

    Apple Jack Night

I was watching Good Eats with Jess and Julian when Alton decided to introduce us to Apple Jack, an apple brandy that is the oldest American liquor. The easy joke being: “America’s oldest and therefore best liquor,” and that joke was made.

Through escalation, it was decided that I would drink only Apple Jack and turn into some sort of serial killer (decided as in talked about; I’m not going to be killing people). That joke was funny enough for Phil to track down some Apple Jack, which I was ordered to finish.

    And I did.
