“Greensleeves” by Greensleeves

September 28th, 2009

David is more or less unemployed so he has time to cut together vanity videos like this one. It’s my new band Greensleeves playing the old British traditional, “Greensleeves,” with shots of some house guests spliced in. That’s “Old” Nathan Patterson on guitar and vocals, and me on mandolin. The set also included “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “Auld Lang Syne,” but due to lack of rehearsal and my drunk fingertips, they sounded a little brown. We’re playing Bruar Falls on 10/2 and Dead Herring on 10/10*. First 4 people to comment on this post get in free!

Also, seeing Paul’s “oh God, there’s a camera” face around 3:50 makes the clip worth watching all the way to 3:50.

*Not finalized yet.
