Episode 208: The Newspaper Ad
Like many of the jokes you’ll find here, this one was stolen from somewhere else, namely the brilliant public access television show The Unemployables. (Full disclosure: Ryan Grim was a cast member; he played the part of Ryan Grim.) The original joke had to do with a newspaper ad promising discounted Buffalo wings. Curse you, anxiety of influence!
So, if you’re jonesin’ to see a thin, youthful Ryan pretend he’s an actor and you enjoy high-quality homespun entertainment, start plowing through the show three episodes at a time as if it were The Wire or Sopranos, or whatever.
